Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community, and we have fun and meaningful opportunities for you to volunteer! We actively seek volunteers who share our commitment to providing the very best education-based resources and programs, to opening doors to opportunity, and to helping families of all kinds more easily achieve their goals for the present, and their dreams for the future.
At FamilyACCESS, these volunteers – men and women of all ages and backgrounds – generously give their time, energy, and experience to help children and families learn, grow, and have fun.
To learn more about the opportunities listed below, or to explore where your skills and passions may be put to work for the community, please contact Stephanie Puzzo, Development Coordinator.
Prior to volunteering at FamilyACCESS, an applicant must successfully pass Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) inquiries. In accordance with state regulations, volunteers working directly with children will also successfully pass a fingerprint-based check of state and national criminal history databases; this process will be completed by an appropriate agent and may be at the volunteer’s own expense.
